Present perfect continuous This tense is used to talk about an action or actions that started in the past and continued until recently or that continue into the future: We can use it to refer to an action that has finished but you can still see evidence.
Oh, the kitchen is a mess. Who has been cooking?
You look tired. Have you been sleeping properly?
I've got a a stiff neck. I've been working too long on computer.
It can refer to an action that has not finished.
I've been learning Spanish for 20 years and I still don't know very much.
I've been waiting for him for 30 minutes and he still hasn't arrived.
He's been telling me about it for days. I wish he would stop.
It can refer to a series of actions.
She's been writing to her regularly for a couple of years.
He's been phoning me all week for an answer.
The university has been sending students here for over twenty years to do work experience.
The present perfect continuous is often used with 'since', 'for', 'all week', 'for days', 'lately', 'recently', 'over the last few months'.
I've been wanting to do that for ten years.
You haven't been getting good results over the last few months.
They haven't been working all week. They're on strike
He hasn't been talking to me for weeks.
We've been working hard on it for ages.
I've been looking at other options recently.
He's been working here since 2001.

يتكون المضارع التام المستمر من has been أو have been + الفعل مضافا إليه ing
I have been waiting - He has been waiting
She has been waiting - It has been waiting
You have been waiting - We have been waiting
They have been waiting
استخدامه :
1- نستخدم المضارع التام المستمر لكي نبين أن حدثا بدأ في الماضي واستمر لبعض الوقت .
Peter has been working in the garden since ten o'clock this morning
بيتر كان يعمل في الحديقة منذ الساعة العاشرة هذا الصباح .
They have been watching football since three o'clock
هم كانوا يشاهدون كرة قدم منذ الساعة الثالثة .
2- ونستخدمه لكي نتحدث عن فعل مازال يحدث .
Alan , You've been reading that book all day
آلان ، أنت تقرأ ذلك الكتاب طوال اليوم .
Yes , I have , but I haven't finished it yet
نعم ولكن لم أنتهي منه بعد .
He has been living here for twenty-five years
هو يعيش هنا لمدة خمسة وعشرون سنة .
She should pass the exam . She has been studying for weeks
هي يجب أن تجتاز الامتحان . هي كانت تذاكر لمدة أسابيع .
How long have you been studying English ?
منذ متي وأنت تدرس اللغة الإنجليزية ؟
3- ونستخدم المضارع التام المستمر لكي نتحدث عن فعل انتهي منذ وقت قصير .

ماذا كنت تفعلين عصر هذا اليوم ، كارول ؟

كنت أتحدث إلي بعض الأصدقاء في النادي .

هم يدرسون الإنجليزية لمدة ثلاثة سنوات .
I'm hungry . I have been travelling for hours
أنا جائع . أنا كنت مسافر لساعات .
John has been looking for a job since he finished university
جون يبحث عن وظيفة منذ أن أنهي دراسته في الجامعة .
I have been studying English since I was a child
أنا أدرس الإنجليزية منذ أن كنت طفلا .
منذ متي وأنت تنتظر ؟ How long have you been waiting
منذ متي وأنت تتعلم القيادة ؟ How long have you been learning to drive
صيغة النفي :
نضع not أو n't بعد have أو has
لم أكن أنتظر I have not been waiting
هو لم يكن ينتظر He hasn't been waiting
صيغة السؤال :
نضع have أو has قبل الفاعل
هل كنت تنتظر ؟ Have you been waiting
